Case Study: The Compton Acres Project!
Eaton Stonemasons is proud to have partnered with Compton Acres on multiple projects over the years. Our latest collaboration involved creating a standout quartz bar worktop for their venue. The project is a great example of creating bespoke solutions that meet our clients practical needs whilst captivating the visual appeal.
Project Overview: The Compton Acres Project!
The project brief was clear from the start. Our client had an idea of a quartz worktop with a big bold pattern that would serve as a focal point in the room. After a visit to our showroom to view a wide range of samples, CQ Samana quartz was the favourite. CQ Samana has a striking but natural bold browny/ gold veining- the perfect quartz to bring their vision to life.
CQ Samana Quartz pairs well with both light and dark coloured cabinetry. The off-white base colour features big bold browny/gold veining throughout. The stone can be dressed up to create a more natural looking kitchen with wooden features and shelves similar to the Olive Green kitchen pictured below. Or it can be featured in a light coloured kitchen as a statement piece creating a beautiful and modern design.
The detailed plan and project design process
It’s all in the finer details! We prioritise detailed planning and design to ensure we fully understand the exact requirements so we can execute the project as visioned by our customer. This includes running through the main kitchen requirements all the way through to the edge details and radius corners. After discussing the finer details in our showroom we were able to provide a quote based on their plan. Once confirmed our templater then went to create a drawing of the exact and final measurements for us to manufacture from. It’s at the template stage where we could give special attention to incorporating the finer details such as the Mitered upstands. The upstands are a design choice that adds a sleek and cohesive look to the overall aesthetic of the bar.
Delivery and Installation Day!
A week after template it was time to install the beautiful bar tops and bring their vision to life. For bigger projects such as kitchen worktops and bar tops we provide a supply, template and installation service. This allows us to see the project through from start to finish. For smaller projects such as a table top we are able to provide a supply only service. This is where you provide us with a template, we manufacture and you collect and install yourselves. We were involved in the Compton Acres project from start to finish. Our specialised templating process ensures accurate fitting for the worktops so the install went smoothly. Our installation teams ensure all surfaces fit perfectly and that the finishing touches are completed to the highest standard.
