Are low silica Quartz worktops more expensive?

Some suppliers silica free or low silica ranges are more expensive than their traditional Quartz ranges. This is due to the increase in manufacture costs of the material. Some suppliers have incorporated the low silica Quartz into their standard price range as they slowly shift towards this upcoming Quartz.
