Low Silica and Silica Free Quartz performs the same as traditional Quartz in terms of heat resistance, scratch resistance and stain resistance. Many suppliers have achieved the same aesthetic overtime with some of the new suppliers still looking to achieve this. Many of the low or silica free materials follow a traditional material which looks identical across all finishes including polished, honed and velluto. We only use suppliers who have achieved this for their no or silica free ranges.
