Quartz is scratch resistant as it’s much harder than most sharp household items such as glass and knives. As a result, everyday use- cutting and sliding objects etc wont scratch the surface easily, although we do advise using a chopping board for cutting to save wear overtime. It’s best to avoid getting any grit or sand on the surface as materials like these are more likely to scratch the surface.
