Quartz and Granite are both suitable materials for kitchen worktops and when looked after will both last 20+ years. Granite requires a small amount of maintenance in terms of re-sealing the surface whereas Quartz is low to no maintenance. Usually the only reason the worktops are replaced is due to a kitchen update.
