Yes you definately can choose your stone worktops from the samples we have in our Showroom. For materials with bigger or more structured veining we can show you a full sized slab in the workshop (if possible) or an image so you can visualise how it would look on a bigger scale.

We can also send samples to your home to have a look at in the space and you're welcome to visit our Stone supplier either in London or up North (depending on the supplier) to see your chosen material in person.

Granite and Marble worktops will need re-sealing every couple of years to keep the surface non-porous. We always seal the surfaces prior to installation as this stops liquids soaking through the surface and causing stains. Quartz and Sintered Stone are man-made materials and don't require sealing.

Quartz, Granite and Sintered Stone worktops are all easy to clean and look after. Our stone surfaces simply require a wipe down with warm, soapy water after use to keep clean. We advise avoiding harsh chemical cleaners and for tougher stains- please give us a call for advise on this! if you're unsure what to use. On all our jobs we leave a can of 'Eaton Stonemasons stone Polish' which can be used to keep the surfaces looking like new!

For smaller spaces we recommend lighter coloured worktops as this will make the space feel bigger and lighter. There are plenty of lighter coloured quartz designs in our showroom to choose from. If you're only looking for one or two small surfaces we have a range of offcuts in our yardstock to choose from. This will keep the cost low and save purchasing material in. Quartz worktops are non-porous so they're unlikely to stain as long as you avoid using harsh cleaning chemicals. We advise wiping down with warm, soapy water after use. If you have a tough stain then gently wiping CIF Cream Cleaner over the area will remove the stains. If you're unsure then please give us a call before using harsh chemicals on your new worktops!
