Custom bathroom countertops

Why should a stone bathroom countertop be boring? We have years of experience providing domestic and business customers with custom bathroom countertops that are both visually attractive, bespoke designed and seamlessly integrated.

One of the most common types of custom stone bathroom countertops that we provide are marble vanity tops and bath surrounds, which we feel add real value to bathrooms. Their timeless simplicity can make a simple bathroom look beautiful.

With new materials like quartz and especially sintered stone we are now able to offer custom made shower panels with a floor to ceiling single material sheet that is water resistant and eliminates the tile joints that will discolour over time.

Marble

Marble is a metamorphic rock formed when limestone is exposed to high temperatures and pressures. Marble forms under such conditions because the calcite forming the limestone recrystallizes forming a denser rock consisting of calcite crystals This natural material is mined in block form and then cut into slabs with one face finished.

For our use 2cm is the preferred thickness although on occasion 3cm can be obtained. It comes in a variety of surface finishes and a wide range of colours and patterns with each slab being completely unique.

Marble is a much more porous material to granite and is not best suited to being used for kitchen tops but is perfect for use in a stone bathroom countertop. This material will always require sealing.
