Worktop Template Day is here! Check out the information below to ensure you’re ready for our team to come and template your new worktops.
What happens on Template Day?
Our Templater will be in touch before the day to confirm whether we’ll be with you in the morning or afternoon to measure your worktops.
We’ll arrive and set up our latest technology- the lazer! This allows us to measure up and create a highly accurate template that will be passed onto our workshop team to manufacture.
How long does templating usually take?
Templates usually take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours on average. It’s really important for you to be onsite to make any final decisions. We will double check your chosen edge profiles, final design and any small changes. We will also check the tap, sink and hob placement as well as the overhangs.
If you have any last minute questions please don’t hesitate to ask on this day. Once manufacture commences it’s tricker to change the plan! So please make sure you’re happy before we complete the template.
What to do before template day?
Prior to template please ensure the units and carcasses are fixed in their final positions, everything is level and the space is clean and tidy. Please have your chosen sink and hob onsite as these will effect the cut out dimensions in your worktops. Any temporary work surfaces need to be removed, and the sink fitted in it’s final position prior to template where possible.
