We’re frequently asked whether you can put hot pans directly on Caesarstone. Caesarstone, like most Quartz is heat resistant to a point but not heat proof. We would always recommend using trivets for hot pans to avoid unnecessary damage or cracks. Stone typically stays quite cold so if you place a boiling hot pan straight on the surface this can cause thermal shock and occasionally this can cause worktops to crack.
